From youth leadership and education to international development, organizational transformation, and global health, my career has consistently focused on one question: How do we build systems that work better for people?
Leading global programs focused on expanding equitable access to diabetes care, with a particular focus on India and other low- and middle-income countries. Building partnerships across government, clinical systems, civil society, philanthropy, and lived-experience communities to translate global priorities into locally grounded, sustainable solutions. Through ALIGN-T1D, advancing national and state-level approaches that strengthen health systems, build local capacity, and create pathways from demonstration to scale.
Led global expansion across India and LMICs, overseeing a $500K+ portfolio spanning advocacy, grants, campaigns, and policy engagement. Built and launched a national, multi-pillar advocacy initiative integrating stigma reduction, community action, and access to care - reaching 800M+ people through an award-winning campaign and directly engaging 50,000+ beneficiaries. Mobilized a 200+ member ambassador network to bring lived experience into global forums, including the World Health Assembly and UN General Assembly, while building partnerships across government, industry, WHO, UN agencies, and global health stakeholders to advance policy and access.

As the organization’s first woman, first immigrant, and first non-alumna CEO in its 58-year history, led a significant post-pandemic transformation, establishing a new vision and three-year strategy to strengthen global reach, financial sustainability, and impact. Built the organization for growth - expanding the team to 41 global staff and 100 volunteers, launching three new programs, and driving a 45% increase in revenue and donations. Strengthened governance and engagement by doubling board participation and increasing alumni giving by 50%, while leading a strategic rebrand and digital transformation that increased external engagement by 400%.
Led large-scale governance and capacity-building initiatives at the intersection of public systems, institutional reform, and human development. In India, managed a portfolio of 55+ programs and partnerships, working with government institutions and development partners to strengthen public-sector capacity and delivery. Through the State Human Resource Management initiative, supported the training of 50,000+ public officials and managed a $25M+ public-private partnership portfolio.
Led leadership and development initiatives bringing together emerging leaders, institutions, and diverse perspectives to build capacity for collective action and systems change. Designed and facilitated leadership programs that connected individual leadership with broader social and institutional transformation.
Built and scaled education and youth leadership initiatives, reaching 75,000+ youth and 3,500+ educators, focused on opportunity, leadership development, and social impact. Scaled the enterprise to 50+ staff across 5 international offices, working across sectors and geographies to create platforms that enabled young people and educators to become catalysts for change, through 50+ global partnerships.

I am a writer, painter, hiker, lifelong learner, and someone who finds energy in people, ideas, nature, and the quiet spaces in between. These pursuits are not separate from my work - they shape how I see the world, ask questions, stay curious, and lead.
